Architect of Eternity

Imhotep was an ancient Egyptian polymath of the Third Dynasty, around 2600 BCE, who served as chancellor and high priest to the pharaoh Djoser. Credited as the architect of the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the first monumental stone building of its kind, he was also revered as a healer and sage. So great was his memory that centuries after his death he was deified as a god of medicine and wisdom, one of the very few mortals in Egypt to be raised to divine status.
