Karna looses a sun-touched arrow that scorches as it strikes.

The Unbreaking Sun
Karna, the tragic hero of the Mahabharata, was the son of the sun-god Surya, born to Kunti and set adrift on a river to be raised by a charioteer. Famed for matchless skill in arms and a generosity so absolute he gave away even his divine golden armor, he fought for the Kauravas out of loyalty to his friend Duryodhana and fell to Arjuna, his own unknown brother, his chariot wheel mired in the earth.
