The Tempest Mace
Bhima, second of the Pandava brothers in the Mahabharata, was the son of the wind-god Vayu and possessed the strength of ten thousand elephants. A mighty mace-wielder of fearsome appetite and temper, he slew the rakshasa Hidimba and the tyrant Jarasandha, and in the great war he killed all hundred Kaurava brothers, fulfilling his vow to avenge the humiliation of Draupadi.
