Lü Bu

The Flying General

Lü Bu was the most fearsome warrior of the late Eastern Han dynasty, a peerless mounted fighter astride his red steed Red Hare and wielding a halberd. Yet he was as notorious for treachery as for prowess, betraying and killing two successive patrons, Ding Yuan and Dong Zhuo. Defeated at last by Cao Cao at the siege of Xiapi in 198, he was captured and executed, remembered as mighty but faithless.
