He Who Makes Things Sprout

Tlaloc is the Aztec god of rain, water, and earthly fertility, dweller atop the mountains where the storm clouds gather. Gifting nourishing rains that make the maize sprout, he could also unleash floods, drought, lightning, and hail upon those who neglected him. He ruled Tlalocan, a green paradise for those taken by water, and shared the great temple of Tenochtitlan with the war-god himself.
