Shadow of Skye

Scathach, the warrior-woman of Irish and Scottish legend, dwelt in a fortress on the Isle of Skye, where she ran a school of martial arts that trained the greatest heroes. To her came Cu Chulainn, whom she taught the secret feats of war and to whom she entrusted the deadly barbed spear Gae Bolg. A formidable seer as well as a teacher, she was said to glimpse the fates of her students, and her name endured as a byword for martial mastery.
