Lady of the Slain

Freyja, the great goddess of Norse myth, presided over love, beauty, fertility, war, and death, and was the foremost practitioner of the magic called seidr. She rode a chariot drawn by two cats and possessed the falcon-feather cloak and the radiant necklace Brisingamen. Half of those slain in battle came to her hall Folkvangr, while the other half went to Odin's Valhalla, making her a chooser of the worthy dead.
