Galahad

The Pure of Heart

Sir Galahad, the noblest knight of Arthurian legend, was the son of Lancelot and renowned for his unblemished purity of heart. Upon his arrival at Camelot he alone could sit in the Siege Perilous, the seat fatal to all but the destined Grail-knight, and drew a sword from a floating stone. Through his perfect virtue he achieved the quest for the Holy Grail, beholding its sacred mysteries before being taken directly up into heaven.
