Voice of the Oak

The druid was the priest, judge, healer, and lore-keeper of the ancient Celts of Gaul and Britain, holding sacred the oak groves and the mistletoe cut with a golden sickle. Forbidden to commit their knowledge to writing, druids memorized vast bodies of law, ritual, and astronomy across decades of training. They presided over sacrifice and seasonal rites, advised chieftains on war and peace, and commanded awe Caesar himself recorded.
